Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and compound specialized formulations
- Manage inventory control and automated dispensing systems
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing
- Provide exceptional patient consultation on medication usage
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical services
- Train pharmacy interns and support staff
Qualifications
- Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician certification
- 1+ years retail or compounding pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding USP 797
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
