Responsibilities
- Precision compounding and dispensing of prescription medications
- Inventory management and controlled substance oversight
- Patient medication counseling and prescription verification
- Electronic health record maintenance and HIPAA compliance
- Coordination with healthcare providers and insurance carriers
- Quality assurance and regulatory compliance monitoring
Qualifications
- Active PTCB certification required
- Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and pharmacy laws
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (Omnicell, QS1)
- Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Valid DC pharmacy technician license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
