Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications for patients.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and physician orders to ensure compliance.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving prescription issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in adherence to OSHA and HIPAA standards.
- Assist the Pharmacist with compounding and specialized medication preparations.
Qualifications
- Current New Mexico Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
