Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging sterile instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce safety protocols
- Account for surgical sponges, needles, and instruments
- Transport patients and specimens safely
- Inventory and restock surgical supplies
- Document procedural activities accurately
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
- Experience with da Vinci robotic systems a plus
