Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures and patient transport as directed.
- Communicate patient status changes and concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
