Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification (state required).
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
