Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic personal care and emotional support to patients to ensure their comfort.
- Assist with mobility issues, including walking, transferring, and positioning patients safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate changes in patient status or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification (we offer training support).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented personality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
