Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to update patient conditions and care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Texas CNA license and active CNA certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
