Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls.
- Administer medications and document care plans accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Active and current CNA or LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- CPR (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
