Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of patient records and medical histories.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changing patient conditions with critical thinking and decisiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to coordinate seamless patient care transitions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to adherence to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
