Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Mobility Support: Safely transfer and ambulate patients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Hygiene & Nutrition: Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and ensure patients remain well-hydrated.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts as required by state regulations and facility policy.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in North Carolina.
