Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with exceptional attention to detail
- Assist patients with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Accurately document patient observations and care activities in EMR systems
- Collaborate effectively with RNs and other healthcare team members
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in acute or long-term care
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse patients
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
