Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Move patients using proper body mechanics and assist with mobility equipment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree in Nursing preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong communication skills and a genuine bedside manner.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
- CPR certification is a plus.
