Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises as directed.
- Monitor and record patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medication and document all care activities accurately in patient records.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed to maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (preferred) or willingness to complete state-required training programs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
