Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care across diverse patient populations during overnight hours
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, document assessments accurately, and respond to emergencies
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently with critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
