Your Role as a CNA
You will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our patients by providing high-quality direct care and support to the nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patient comfort and hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses with procedures, treatments, and therapeutic exercises as directed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
