Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures, treatments, and examinations.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to strict patient dietary requirements and nutritional plans.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control standards.
  • Communicate changes in patient conditions and needs to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the state of Florida.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
