Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in health status or behavior to the supervising nurse immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and shift reports in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Support the nursing team in implementing patient care plans and therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in emergency situations.
- Reliable personal computer and high-speed internet connection for remote roles.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for on-site/home health visits).
