Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the registered nurse or charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain certification through our sponsored training program).
- Valid California CNA license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health record systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
