Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, and report any abnormalities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all residents.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification) is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic medical records.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- CPR certification (BLS) is a plus but not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
