Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Mobility Support: Assist patients with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids safely.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients in accordance with facility standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient needs, concerns, and changes in condition to the nursing staff and family members.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification: Must hold a current, valid CNA certification (or be willing to obtain one).
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality patient care.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift, and assist patients weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
