Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as directed by nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families to ensure a positive care experience.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and residents.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and family members regarding patient status and changes in condition.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training!
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Basic computer proficiency.
