Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Communicate patient status and changes to the nursing staff promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals to patients according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation (for some off-site locations).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when assisting patients.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
