Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and ambulating safely.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the RN or Supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA or LPN license in the State of California.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
- Reliable transportation and availability for shift work.
