Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, temperatures, and blood pressure.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN or Physician.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury.
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the nursing team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active CNA or LPN License in New York State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Physical stamina to perform standing, walking, and lifting duties.
