Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, safely transferring them from bed to wheelchair or chair.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary requirements and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the clinical care team regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn electronic health records (EHR).
