As a CNA on our night shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care while they rest. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, patient-focused, and ready to make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation safely and effectively.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document daily care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Virginia.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
- Physical ability to lift and assist patients up to 250 lbs when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED required.
