Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision and safety
- Monitor patient vitals and response to interventions, documenting all care activities accurately
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments
