Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to identify changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado (or willing to obtain license for Virginia location).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
