Responsibilities
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during the night shift.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required for the state of Kansas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle the physical demands of the job.
