Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patient comfort and safety while assisting with meals and ambulation.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and changes in condition in medical records.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with the nursing staff and communicate critical patient needs promptly.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CNA or STNA certification in the state of Texas.
- License: Active state license without restrictions.
- CPR: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Availability: Ability to work rotating night shifts (3x12 or 4x10).
- Soft Skills: Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
