Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status throughout the night shift.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during night hours.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed nurses.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and staff.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA certification (State License).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
