Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate patient status changes effectively to healthcare team
- Support emotional well-being of patients during overnight hours
- Complete accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
