Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (Graduate Nurse will be considered).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
