Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to elderly residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Transport residents safely between facilities and activities
- Maintain clean, sanitized living environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary (training provided)
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid Missouri driver's license preferred for facility transport
