Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is preferred, but we will consider candidates willing to obtain certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate nature and a desire to help others.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
