Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient health status accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and physicians regarding patient changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Document daily care logs and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity.
- Computer proficiency for electronic health records (EHR).
