Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the RN.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments or activities using a wheelchair or walker.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Arizona CNA Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience as a CNA or Home Health Aide preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Clean background check and drug screen.
