Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Feeding Assistance: Prepare and serve meals to patients who require assistance with eating, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to improve patient well-being.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Documentation: Complete shift reports and update electronic health records accurately and promptly.
- Medication Assistance: (Where applicable) Assist with medication reminders under the supervision of a nurse.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, unencumbered CNA license in the state of Colorado required.
- Experience: No prior work experience required; we provide on-the-job training for certified candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and a desire to help those in need.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
