Your Role
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in the lives of our residents. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for those in our care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking assistance.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy for charting documentation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
