Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to develop patient care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Transport patients for medical procedures and tests
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment screening
