Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming (ADLs).
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assistance: Assist nurses with procedures, transfers, and mobility support to ensure patient safety.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status and changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and shift reports.
- Hygiene & Safety: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.
- Certification: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work Weekend Shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
