Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Administer medication and treatments under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Accurately record patient status and care plans in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California CNA License (State Certified).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Physical stamina to lift, turn, and assist patients as required.
