Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs safely.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Document all patient care activities and changes in condition in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients' families regarding care plans.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and move patients as necessary.
- Compassionate, patient-centered, and detail-oriented approach to care.
