Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance to residents.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist patients with mobility issues, transferring them safely from bed to wheelchair or stretcher.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, changes in condition, or immediate needs.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
  • Document all care provided in the electronic medical record system (EMR).

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
  • Current, unencumbered Oklahoma CNA license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care settings preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
