Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance to patients
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a safe, sanitary environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Facilitate patient social engagement and emotional support
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or acute settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
