Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers using proper techniques to ensure resident safety
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records system
- Support residents with cognitive impairments using specialized care protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care setting
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
