Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments, social events, and errands
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations
- Maintain detailed care notes and documentation
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and stimulating home environment
Qualifications
- Previous caregiver or home health aide experience preferred but not required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification a plus
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
