Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using systematic triage protocols to determine priority of care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient flow
- Document assessments and care plans accurately in EHR systems
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Monitor vital signs and maintain emergency department readiness
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
