In this role, you will provide personalized, compassionate care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. We offer comprehensive training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take their prescribed medications on time and report any changes in health to the supervisor.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and provide emotional support to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature as required.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or run errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required (comprehensive training provided).
- License: Current Texas CNA or HHA license is a plus.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
